Meet Ricky – A Sweet Senior Looking for His Perfect Match! Ricky is a 13-year-old Chihuahua mix searching for a forever home that understands his unique personality and needs. He may be small, but he has a big personality and plenty of love to give! Ricky would do best in a home with older children or no kids and no cats. He is currently living in a foster home with four other dogs, and with proper introductions and supervision, he transitioned well. However, he does best with more submissive dogs. He can be a little growly when unsure of new situations—both with dogs and humans—and takes extra time to warm up to any men in the home. Ricky is also protective of his space and has a hard time with new people coming into the house. He tends to bark when unfamiliar people enter, so it’s best to give him a safe space during visits. Thankfully, he’s very food-motivated, making redirection easier when needed. Despite his quirks, Ricky is incredibly sweet and affectionate once he trusts you. He loves to run and chase and will never say no to a belly rub! He is fully housetrained and, for 13 years old, is in fantastic health. He has so much love to give—we just need to find him the perfect fit.🚨ADOPT ME🚨 Meet Moochie 🐾 — the sweetest little guy you’ll ever meet! At 4 years old and 10.9 kg, he lives to be loved and adores being close to his person. Moochie loves his walks, car rides (especially if there’s a chance for ice cream 🍦), and snuggling up in bed at night. He’s house trained and gets along great with his foster mum’s foster kiddos (ages 7 & 8 and their resident BTB alum, Tania. 💕 Right now, Moochie is sporting a cone, so he’s still adjusting to some things—like new people coming into the house. He tends to bark a lot when someone new walks in, and we’re not sure how he’d react without the cone. With a little training and patience, we’re confident he’ll settle in beautifully. 🐶✨ Moochie is also fascinated by cats—he just sits and stares with a little growl, like he’s not quite sure what to do next. 😄 He eats well, cuddles better, and is ready to find a home where he’ll be cherished as much as he deserves. 💛TRAPPER is a 3 1/2 year old 50 pound Fox Hound Mix who just loves people. Meet COSMO Age – 1 year Sex – Male Weight – about 14 pounds Energy – moderate Cosmo found himself in a senior rescue because we have a reputation of reforming challenging little dogs. —————————————————— Cosmo is not available for adoption at th present time. —————————————————— Cosmo was a bit of jerk when he came to us, but he has mellowed out a lot. We still insist on a house with no kids, and no dogs smaller than Cosmo. His foster gets better and better at reading his body language and he’s just a fun little dog. We believe that pain/discomfort from the allergies may be what led to his behaviour. Cosmo is on a limited ingredient, single protein diet to keep his allergies under control Cosmo is a puppy, full of energy, always wants to play, loves his toys and super treat motivated. He plays all the energy out of his senior foster brothers and sisters and has adapted to their nap schedule. He’s working on his house training and is pee pad trained. His foster mom works full time, Cosmo isn’t destructive but just waits patiently for her to come home. So – if you’ve got room in your house for this barrel of fun, and are good at reading your animals behaviour and adjusting accordingly – Cosmo might just be the guy for you. They do absolutely everything together and look after one another. They are an adorable and very loving pair. The second I sit down they are on my lap. They are barkers, and do not like when you leave the house, they are very excited when you come back home. They love to go for walks, but will bark at people along the way. I usually pick up Rosie and she will stop barking, Daisy Mae will stop as soon as Rosie stops. They are good with other dogs, once they are introduced to them properly. They do not like cats, rabbits or squirrels. They are pee pad trained, but once they learn your routine, they seldom have to use the pad. Rosie, the mother, is very protective of her baby. She is the one to win over. She will be cautious and may take longer to gain her trust. Daisy Mae, the daughter, is very trusting and will show you love right away. We would not dream of separating these girls who will stay together.
